The adventure begins

I think it was about 583 days ago that we decided we would explore Canada in the summer of 2015. Vancouver Island, the Rocky Mountains, emerald lakes, snow capped peaks, unspoilt wilderness, nature at it's finest. Definitely our kind of holiday (Laura will probably tell me to shut up and stop being so poncy and gushing at this point).

We started researching, planning and looking forward to an adventure almost 2 years ahead of us. We put an entry in our countdown app and watched as the days decreased at a glacial pace.

But now, that adventure has started. The mountains are calling, I must go...
